		<description>BUSINESS PLAN
PEKAMI CREATIVE SOLUTIONS LTD.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Mission Statement
The main of objective of wanting to go into this business, is to empower financially, the small business enterprises, small business owners by advancing to them small manageable business loans to enhance and expand or re-stock their dwindling businesses which have not been doing well due to capital.

Company Goals &amp; Objectives
Pekami Creative Solutions is located on 4th floor Nacico Plaza, Nairobi. The company will try to reach the low income earners, small business owners within Nairobi and its suburbs and other major towns and agricultural towns as Kenya is mostly an agricultural country. Including, the company is hopeful in having a network of branches in all these areas, and strive in micro finance and have a high customer satisfaction.
Business Philosophy:-
A satisfied customer will be Pekami’s satisfaction. Our service will be marketed to all small business and low income earners. Pekami creative solutions is a micro finance company that will serve both individual and partnership, small business in the form of advancing to them loans to expand their business and or increase their scope of business like increasing their stocks, increase acreages in agricultural enterprises.
It also will keep or open Personal savings accounts for those especially in the agricultural outlets to keep their savings earned from their farm products.

Most small business enterprises have opted to be small because of lack of capital, and used to be empowered to expand. There has been a lot of restructuring in both the government and state parastatals due to electronic advancement. This has led to most if not 40% of employed cadre being retrenched and given a golden handshake
Most of these retrenched people have gone into small business and have not been able to go beyond the initial stages, because most of them gone home with less thanKshs.100, 000. This is why Pekami needs and wants to empower such people who need to earn a decent and honest living as most of them are parents with school going children whom they need to feed and pay fees for.

It is for these reason that we feel as a micro finance company we need to bridge the gap that most Commercial Banks have created, and need to give or advance to small loans repayable to them, and from the small interest charged to them, Pekami is able to do its day to days business and repay its loan.

As for farmers, farming has become very competitive and a lot of inputs have to be used, which most of them cannot afford to buy and need to be empowered to do so, and to improve their farm produce from which they can sell and service their loans and also be able to sustain themselves and run their day to day life plus continue with farming by ploughing back a certain percentage of the harvest profit.

Pekami creative solutions Ltd was formed by Archbishop Peter Kaburu M’itonga as a Sole Proprietorship in September 2007, but it already has acquired a few shareholders who hold 25% of the company shares and there is intention to float more shares to the public, in a year’s time to increase the working capital and branch expansion structure upon successful take-off.
The company has its address in leased premises in the heart of the city of Nairobi-Kenya on Landhies Road, Nacico Plaza 4th floor.

A Pekami creative solution is expected to open its doors to its customers in January 2008. The company is already operational but will open to the first banking customers early 2008.
The company is involved in the following distinct activities.
Savings deposit acceptance.
Loan advancement to customers who so require these service.
As a short term project, say in 3-5 yrs, branch expansion policy, that is take service close to its customers.

It is in Pekami’s interest to serve as much as possible a wide spectrum of people in almost all towns where the small business enterprise are increasing by the day. It is the company’s short term objective to increase its activities in all major agricultural towns and townships.
To do so we shall need capital that will see us through this expansion process. We hope to raise a lot of deposits through this expansion process.

Amount required:
Pekami creative solutions will need approximately $ 1,000,000,000 dollar currently is 1 $ @ Kshs. 66. = 66000,000,000 (66 billion) we envisage that the amount asked for will be used in the following manner:-

50% - will go towards working capital (loan advancements).
25% - will go towards branch network expansion (Construction leases and rents of buildings we expect to occupy).

15% - Towards establishment cost, (equipment, computers, scanner, faxes, email etc; staffing and training).
5% - Loan costs.
5% -towards marketing-advertisements both medias.

Equity:
The principles have so far already injected more than Kshs. 1,000,000/=, while the business is still in its teething stages, they hope to inject more than 3,000,000/= and more will be injected when the company floats its shares to the public, say 1 ½ years or less from inception. The share capital is expected to inject quite a substantial amount of money into PEKAMI Creative Solutions Ltd.

So far, the principals and management are operating from the head office which is already operational; but hope that the 1st branch will open its doors to the first customer early 2008.

The completed value of the project is difficult to project at the moment, as it is our ambition to be in every town in Kenya, but can only say it will or shall be in excess of several billion dollars say, $ 100,000,000,000.

Exit strategy;
As it is our wish to take the loan at the maximum period offered. It is projected that the by the time the repayment period is at hand, we shall be more than 50% in our branch network or we will be at the peak of our expansion programme, therefore repayment will not be a problem. We propose to repay at 5million dollars per month with interest. This will leave us with income to carry on our day to day business as we will also be getting income from interest earned on loans and advances, plus commissions charged on various services offered.

Kindly review and enclosed business plan/loan proposal, and of course feel free to ask for any additional information or explanation you may deem necessary. We look forward to a mutually profitable relationship with you.
